Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday. On this Sunday, one week prior to Easter, we celebrate Jesus’ entrance into the Holy City, Jerusalem. Palm branches were tossed before him as entered the city to identify him as the Messiah. He has come to provide salvation to those who will believe. He has come to die on a cross and rise from the grave. Salvation is coming! Join us as we celebrate Jesus triumphal entry and the beginning of Holy Week!

The day will begin at Noon with the opening of our “In Remembrance Walk Through” at our Downtown Campus. This immersive walk through experience is great for the whole family and provides a unique opportunity for reflection on the sacrifice and gift Christ gave to us when He died on the cross.
**If you plan to attend our “In Remembrance Walk Through” please bring your mobile device and a pair of earbuds so you can take part in some new aspects of the experience.**
Following the end of our “In Remembrance Walk Through”, at 6:30pm, we will begin our Good Friday service at our Downtown Campus. This will be a time for us, as the body of Christ, to come together as we worship Christ and partake in communion together as we remember the sacrifice for His death on the cross in our place. We will also hear an incredible message from the word of God from Senior Pastor, Dr. Aaron D. Burgner.

We ask that you join us in our 24 Hours of Prayer & Fasting as we seek the Lord’s face, repent of our sins and seek God’s movement among Central Florida and all over the world!
People from all five of our campuses will be coming together for this one day to pray together and seek God’s face in our Downtown Campus Prayer Room! Praying for a movement from the Lord that is bigger than any one of us. Click the register button to join us and select your prayer time!

Join us for Easter at Lakes Church! This year we will kick off our Easter Sunday with a Sunrise Service at Lake Mirror in Downtown Lakeland, the Auburndale Campus & the South Campus. Followed by our normal service times at all of our campuses.
This Sunday is going to be a very special Sunday as we celebrate Christ, The Risen King, with an incredible time of worship, outdoor baptisms at Lake Mirror and throughout the morning at all of our campuses, and a special message from God’s word for His people on this very special day!

Meet our Senior Pastor
Dr. Aaron D. Burgner
Pastor Aaron became the pastor of Lakes Church (formerly Church at the Mall) in September of 2017. Since then, he has led our congregation with expository and in-depth teaching through the Word of God. His approach is that by learning and teaching through the bible verse-by-verse that we will begin to see that in its entirety, it is all one narrative that points and shouts back to Christ. So, as we look forward to kicking off this Easter Season, Pastor Aaron will be closing out the journey he has been leading us through, looking at the life of Christ, His great sacrifice, burial and resurrection!

We will have chairs provided for the first 1,500 people
Palm Sunday & Easter Sunday childcare will be available for all 9:15am & 10:45am services. On Good Friday childcare will be available for children Birth – 2 years of age.
Due to the number of attendees at each service, we ask that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start of the service you are attending to ensure everyone is seated before the service begins.
Each service lasts approximately one hour.
Where you feel most comfortable in formal attire or jeans and a t-shirt, we encourage you to come as you are. Please be modest, but come as you are!
Please plan to bring your mobile device and a pair of ear buds so you can participate with this interactive walk-through event.
