Missions
Make disciples that overflow his presence everywhere we go.
“To glorify God by staying tethered to Christ through His Word, and reaching Central Florida with the Gospel by turning members into missionaries."
Local Missions
Neighborhood Market
There are many people in our communities who don’t have enough food to meet their needs. These people are our neighbors and we come together as a team to supplement their food needs. We went to a very unique model during the Covid 19 pandemic where instead of packing bags with food that they may or may not use, we switched to a Neighbor Choice Pantry. The neighbor can go online and choose the foods that their family needs and enjoys eating. We then pack these items for them to pick up at either our Downtown Lakeland, Auburndale or South Lakeland Campus. In addition to providing food, we also share Jesus, provide coaching on obtaining other needed physical or medical needs. We have volunteers who coach, drive vans and trucks, shop, stock, and do administrative work.
Neighborhood Café
In addition to providing groceries through our Neighborhood Market, we will be providing a hot meal and the Gospel message each week on Tuesday nights at our Neighborhood Café. While this ministry had to close during the Covid 19 pandemic, we are preparing to get the ministry formerly known as Breaking Bread Café, restarted in mid-July in its new location at the Neighborhood Café. We will need cooks, servers, coaches, musicians and more as we provide hot nutritious meals to our neighbors along with the message of Christ at our Tuesday night Service.
